Bimil,
Thanks for clicking on a link from a stranger on Twitter. Please consider this an open application for Meadowlark Media.
I was impassioned to create this after the most recent South Beach Sessions between Dan and Greg, simply because the idea of participating in a culture filled with so much love and empathy is overwhelming.
For the past five years my focus has been on operating a free-to-play poker game with three colleagues. Originally, we were a third-party licensee partner of our former employer, the World Poker Tour, but we generated enough revenue to buy the platform. Without a premium brand, our prospects for growth are minimal, but we generate enough revenue to acquire new users to neutralize leakage, while also remaining cash positive and maintaining healthy salaries.
It’s antithetical in today’s world of growth by any means necessary, but for the four of us it’s more valuable to have a cash cow than to take on unnecessary risk to scale a business in a mature space. It also allows us to explore other passions, which brings me to the purpose of this message:
If there is ever a need for help in Miami (save for the current Engineer position because, while I have technical experience, I don’t have technical expertise), please consider me.
Before becoming a marketer, I was a writer and producer for PokerNews, covering the largest poker tournaments in the world. Even now I still exercise my creative muscles on a show named Gridiron Gamble, where we outline a weekly entry in the annual Circa Sports Million betting contest.
I am proficient with most of the modern A/V tools, have experience in a start-up environment, and don’t need a primary income. My goal isn’t to be on camera or to be behind a microphone, I just want to be a net positive in a creative environment. I just want to make great art with even better people – and it’s plainly evident Meadowlark Media is a very special place.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me via email or phone. Both are available on my resumé.
Thanks,
Rich
